The PTFE film sheet (and ptfe film roll) is a high-performance thin film produced from pure polytetrafluoroethylene resin. It is manufactured by compression molding cylindrical blanks, sintering at high temperatures, and precision skiving (turning) along the circumference using specialized machinery.
Non-directional PTFE film features randomly distributed molecular chains, providing consistent mechanical strength in both longitudinal and transverse directions. For advanced technical requirements, calendered semi-directional and oriented ptfe thin film variants offer enhanced longitudinal tensile strength, tighter thickness tolerances, smoother surface finishes, and superior dielectric stability.
