PTFE Hollow Rod (also known as molded PTFE tube or PTFE hollow bar) is manufactured using the compression molding process with premium PTFE resin. In this method, PTFE powder is placed in a precision mold, compressed under high pressure, and sintered at controlled high temperature.
This production technique delivers
Compared to extruded PTFE tubes, compression molded hollow rods are especially suitable for applications requiring thicker walls, larger diameters, higher rigidity, and better load-bearing performance.

Exceptional Chemical Resistance
Inert to almost all chemicals, including strong acids, alkalis, solvents, and corrosive gases (except molten alkali metals and certain fluorine compounds). Ideal for aggressive chemical environments.
Extreme Temperature Performance
Continuous service range -180°C to +260°C, with short-term capability beyond this range.
Ultra-Low Friction & Self-Lubricating
Coefficient of friction as low as 0.04–0.06 – reduces wear, eliminates need for lubricants in many cases.
High Mechanical Strength (Molded Advantage)
Better compressive strength, rigidity, and resistance to creep compared to extruded equivalents. Ideal for structural or load-bearing components.
Non-Stick & Easy Clean
Extremely low surface adhesion – ideal for clean release and low-maintenance applications.
