Our soft PTFE sheet is produced by a controlled expansion process of high-purity virgin PTFE, creating a highly fibrillated, multi-directional microstructure. This unique structure gives the material exceptional softness, high compressibility, low density, and outstanding recovery properties — characteristics that conventional solid PTFE sheets cannot achieve. The result is a gasket material that conforms easily to flange irregularities, fills surface imperfections, and achieves reliable sealing with significantly lower bolt torque than traditional PTFE or filled PTFE sheets.

Typical Applications
- Flange gaskets for glass-lined reactors, FRP, PVC, and plastic piping systems
- Sealing of fragile or uneven flanges where high bolt load must be avoided
- Food & pharmaceutical equipment (FDA compliant grades available)
- Heat exchangers, agitators, and manhole covers
- Pump and valve bonnet gaskets
- Large-diameter flanges with low available bolt torque
- Applications requiring very low stress-to-seal performance
- Emergency repair and temporary sealing solutions
Because of its high conformability and forgiving nature, soft PTFE sheet is widely regarded as one of the most user-friendly and reliable universal gasket materials for demanding chemical and process industries.
