Product Description

Virgin PTFE rod is manufactured from 100% pure polytetrafluoroethylene resin without the addition of fillers, pigments, or recycled content. Produced through room-temperature compression molding followed by controlled sintering, the material forms a dense and uniform structure suitable for precision industrial machining.

Material Characteristics

Unlike filled grades, virgin PTFE rod maintains the intrinsic properties of PTFE at the highest level of purity. It offers exceptional resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals. Key performance attributes include:

The material machines cleanly on standard CNC equipment and can be turned, drilled, or milled into complex components with smooth surface finish and stable tolerances.
